A blank warehouse wall is an opportunity. These became a tribute to Kentucky.
On May 5, 2025, Black Diamond Designs worked on large-format warehouse wall wraps at Amazon shipping facilities in Lexington, Kentucky. The photos document two murals with distinct site identifiers, LEX1 and LEX2, each using Kentucky imagery to give a large industrial interior a sense of place.

LEX2: Horses, Landscapes and an Oversized Emblem
The LEX2 wall places a bold circular horse emblem against a landscape collage. One section shows horse racing, a grandstand and a sunset silhouette; another moves into a wooded river scene, a waterfall and horses, with the outline of Kentucky linking the sections.

The design is built for warehouse scale. Large shapes, strong color contrast and a prominent LEX2 mark help these warehouse wall wraps read across an open floor.

LEX1: Bluegrass Country and Kentucky Identity
The second mural, labeled LEX1, sets a Kentucky outline, large white lettering, a blue illustrated emblem and the University of Kentucky UK mark against panoramic green fields and blue sky. Use of the UK mark here is part of the mural design and does not imply endorsement by the university.

Some photos show a ladder and caution tape in front of the wall, documenting the active work area. The LEX1 and LEX2 murals are distinct mural areas; the photos don’t establish whether they are in the same building.

Why Warehouse Wall Wraps Take Planning
Warehouse wall wraps aren’t small framed panels. They stretch across long distances and meet texture, conduit, equipment, doors and changes in surface. Part of the LEX1 wall shows visible texture, which is why matching the installation approach to the real surface matters. Scenic images, state outlines, logos and oversized type also need to stay continuous as the graphic crosses the wall. The film series, prep steps and square footage were not supplied, so they aren’t claimed here.
