Quick answer: On June 4, 2015, Black Diamond Designs completed a Motus Motorcycles trailer wrap on an oversized enclosed gooseneck cargo trailer. We designed it, printed it and installed it.
Project date: June 4, 2015
Client: Motus Motorcycles
Project: Custom gooseneck cargo trailer wrap
Location: Black Diamond Designs original headquarters, 113 David Green Road, Hoover, AL (Birmingham metro)
Our role: Design, large-format printing and installation. We worked directly for Motus Motorcycles.
Motus Motorcycles is an American manufacturer known for its V4-powered performance motorcycles. The goal for this Motus Motorcycles trailer wrap was to turn a large enclosed trailer into a mobile advertisement that matched the brand.

Motus Motorcycles Trailer Wrap Design: Three Concepts
Our creative team developed three original design concepts that combined Motus branding, motorcycle photography and a high-performance look: oversized MOTUS lettering, red and silver accents, motorcycle imagery and smoke effects on a black background.

The final design gave the brand a strong presence on both sides of the trailer.

Large-Format Printing and Installation
After the design was approved, we printed and installed the wrap. We installed the Motus Motorcycles trailer wrap at our original headquarters at 113 David Green Road in Hoover, in the Birmingham metro. Installation required careful alignment around access doors, wheel wells, exterior hardware and the gooseneck structure.

The finished wrap includes oversized Motus branding, full-color motorcycle graphics, graphics fitted around trailer features, branded rear cargo doors and coordinated gooseneck graphics.

From Concept to Completion
We managed the work directly for Motus Motorcycles, from original artwork through production and installation, so one team was accountable for how the finished trailer looked.

How to Plan a Project Like This
If you are planning work similar to these Motus Motorcycles trailer wrap, a few steps make the difference between graphics that fit and graphics that look intentional:
- Measure every panel, door and body line before artwork is finalized.
- Clean and prep the surface so the film bonds properly.
- Plan seams so they fall on natural body lines.
- Match logo and stripe placement from vehicle to vehicle.
- Inspect edges, recesses and hardware areas after installation.
We bring that same checklist to every job, from projects like these Motus Motorcycles trailer wrap to fleet, window, wall and specialty work across the Birmingham area, the Southeast and beyond. Ask us what your surfaces need before artwork is final; it saves time and reprints.
Why Work With a Birmingham-Based Installer
Our crew is based in Hoover, in the Birmingham metro, and we travel for projects across the Southeast and the country. That means one team handles the site survey, surface prep, installation and final walkthrough, whether the job is a single vehicle, one storefront or a multi-location rollout. On projects like this Motus Motorcycles trailer wrap job, we tell you up front what we did and did not do, so you always know who designed, printed and installed your graphics. If you are comparing installers, ask for recent photos of similar surfaces, how they handle seams and edges, and who will actually be on site. We are happy to answer all three.
